  Jessica purchased Cross Creek Equestrian Center, in the fall of 2018. In 2021 her husband, Terrence Mcmanus joined her. Over the years Jessica has enjoyed training and showing horses from numerous disciplines. She started riding American Saddlebreds at the age of 5 years old and had a very successful show career into her early teens. Her family moved to SW Florida in 1989, and she began riding and showing Hunter/Jumpers, three day eventing and even practiced a little polo! She became an assistant trainer at a local farm where she started all the two year olds and schooled the show horses daily. In her twenties she traveled around the country starting colts for some of the top trainers in the U.S.  In the late 90s, Jessica , opened her first boarding/training facility in Central Tennessee and was there until 2000. From Tennessee, Jessica moved to South Carolina where she acquired her second boarding/training facility, which she operated until moving back to Florida after the farm was sold. She went on to get her degree and for the last seventeen years she has been a veterinary technician for small and large animal veterinarians. In 2016, Jessica took a position as Practice Manager at a 4 doctor mixed animal veterinary practice. With all of Jessica's knowledge as an equestrian and in the veterinary field, you can rest assured that your horse will have the best care possible while at Cross Creek Equestrian Center.
